Ruth Jones + James Corden talk about…US!

We just got word that during their appearance on the Charlotte Church Nutcracking Christmas Special (available to UK residents via Channel 4 on Demand for the next 30 days), James Corden + Ruth Jones mentioned us! (We’d wondered why traffic took a sharp uptick today).

James, Ruth – thanks for your kind words and glad you think the site is “amazing” and “in depth.” (Ruth we love you too!) We do our best. You’re a busy, prolific fellow; sometimes it’s hard to keep up.

Just to clarify: Yes, we try to keep on top of the posts and keep the site updated. Google helps.

Yes, I am a guy. And yes, we’ve got some friends over at chubarama.net (a gay chubby chaser site). Though I’m not quite sure I’d call it a strong link.

We’ll post video, if someone loads to YouTube.  Let us know if you spy some, via email at jamescordenfansite@gmail.com

Lesbian Vampire Killers – Trailer + Official Movie Site

This weekend kicked off the start (or at least the biggest push yet) for the upcoming James Corden + Mat Horne comedy/slasher, Lesbian Vampire Killers.

The launch of the official film website, lesbianvampirekillersmovie.co.uk, is superseded only by the latest teaser/trailer for the film. Check it out on the film website or watch it at shocktillyoudrop.com

It looks like there are features coming to the site between now and the release date of 20 Mar 2009.

Meanwhile, you can check out the LVK Facebook page or check our prior Lesbian Vampire coverage.

Corden could be stage Shrek

The Sun (so take with a grain of salt) reports that James Corden could star as Shrek in a West End production of the musical based on popular film.

Corden is no stranger to the stage, having starred in The History Boys in London and on the world tour before finding more regular work on TV and the silver screen.

We’ll post more when we corroborate with a less tabloid news source.

Corden’s Favourite Christmas Present

MSN has a story about James Corden’s best ever Christmas present – a bike.

As a ruse, Corden’s parents told him that bikes were much less expensive after Christmas, so it made sense to wait a few days. Thirteen year old James fumed and was “grumpy” Christmas morning.

When his Dad asked him to get some fizzy pop from the patio, he pulled back the curtain to reveal his surprise present.

MERRY CHRISTMAS from JCFS.

Lesbian Vampire Killers Christmas Carol

Not sure if the producers had anything to do with this or not, but YouTube has a new Lesbian Vampire Killers Christmas Carol.

Why post here? James Corden and Mat Horne co-star in the film, set for release in March 2009.

Don’t Forget: Gavin & Stacey Christmas Special

Don’t miss it!

Corden visiting Ruth Jones during her Radio Show

We posted yesterday the great news that James Corden + Ruth Jones have officially announced a third series for Gavin & Stacey.

Turns out, Corden spent a few minutes with Ruth on her radio show. YouTube fans who were in the crowd managed to capture some cellphone video.

Enjoy the clips (and please excuse the cell phone quality) after the jump.

Corden + Keane

We reported last week that James Corden was set to host a Christmas special broadcast with music group Keane.

For those who missed it, we’ve got the video in three parts (courtesy YouTube) after the jump.

Enjoy.

Gavin & Stacey: 3rd SERIES CONFIRMED

We posted yesterday that the Swansea Evening Post was reporting that James Corden and Ruth Jones, co-creators of the hit comedy Gavin & Stacey, had promised the show would return in some form in 2009.

Now, we’re VERY PLEASED to share that BBC News is reporting that James and Ruth have committed to a full third series of Gavin & Stacey. The duo made the announcement during a live, on-stage broadcast of Jones’ radio show in Barry, Sunday morning.

A crowd of around 1,000, some carrying signs reading “Third Series Please,” greeted the announcement with loud cheers.

The Gavin & Stacey Christmas Special airs Christmas Eve at 10pm on BBC1.
